Jo reads this weeks reading which is Psalm 46This week Colin looks into the city of Philadelphia. The city of Philadelphia in Turkey had been let down by the Emperor Domitian. He had promised much and delivered little. The small church there received a message of encouragement urging the members to remain faithful to the one who is “holy and true”. If we remain faithful to him, we, like them will receive the strength we need in times of uncertainty and turmoil. Our lives will be hidden with Christ in God.
